small change of plans

So, this is probably not the blog you were hoping for and it's not really what I thought I would be writing either. By now I was planning on proclaiming to the world my amazing accomplishments.

Well, I have a small change of plans. As a result of my first blog I was given a offer I could not refuse. A friend of mine started a group called weigh n pray. It is a group of ladies who get together to well, weigh and pray. :) Because I have tried to do this alone in the past, I thought this would be a great group to be a part of. I need accountability.

So, I have joined the weigh and pray group. Here's where the plans have changed, we don't start meeting until January 9th and it is a competition. I want to win, so I am working out some and watching my eating but not being as strict as I will after January 9th. I am still very excited about my life change with the added benefit of an accountability group and a possible grand prize. I cannot wait!!!

On a different note, as of this week I can proudly say I have been cancer free for one year!! Yay!
